A Polymeric Breakthrough
Are those rubber bushes you replaced just months ago worn out already? Is handling soggy and vague? Are tyres wearing prematurely? Is your main dealer no longer stocking bushes for your car? Are your present bushes undermining road-holding capability?
These are some of the problems SuperFlex bushes are developed to overcome for you.
Over almost two decades, SuperFlex has pioneered this unique product range, now approaching 2000 different thoroughly-proven automotive applications, to become the clear market leader - world-wide.
For performance and quality, backed by a full 2-year road warranty, SuperFlex bushes are unrivalled - a real value long term benefit to the feel of your car.
Better By Design
SuperFlex are not mere copies of the original rubber bushes. They are individually designed to take full advantage of the special characteristics of polyurethane - its durability, and exceptional friction-absorbing capability not hitherto attainable with rubber. Critical crush, pre-load, and location factors are calculated to achieve positive, responsive driver feedback, which complements a vehicle's roadholding capability - coupled with ride refinement. The four firmness grades in manufacture (70, 80, 90, & 95 Shore-A) enable us to match the needs of each individual application. The superior finish of SuperFlex bushes - machine-finished where appropriate - is not purely cosmetic either. It ensures a precise fit - an important part of the optimum crush, pre-load, and location equation.
Our sophisticated casting techniques maintain the consistency and accuracy that put SuperFlex bushes - and the resultant quality of handling that you'll experience - in a class of their own. The SuperFlex experience comes only when you fit genuine SuperFlex bushes. So be certain that is exactly what you get.
The Key is Resilience
SuperFlex polyurethane suspension bushes are shiny, and have a firm rubber-like resilience you can actually feel. They combine the best features of rubber - the elimination of noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) - with the durability and toughness of plastic or metal. Resilience is the secret and the real benefit.
SuperFlex bushes are very different from the inferior injection-moulded versions that, from time to time, others attempt to market, regardless of their shortcomings. So beware. Their typically innate hardness and lack of resiliency range, tends to transmit NVH to a level that could put you off using polyurethane bushes on a road car ever again. They're usually a product of either: automotive inexperience, limited process capability, or simply cost-cutting. Fortunately they are easily recognisable when seen alongside SuperFlex, due to their dull, lack-lustre appearance. They also feel hard and unyielding, and can be difficult to fit. With SuperFlex, you can actually feel the elastomeric quality. But insisting on the brand name is your only real safeguard against a costly disappointment.
Toughness
SuperFlex bushes have an extremely high tension- and compression-bearing capacity. This enables them to be lighter, thinner, and more durable than rubber bushes, while still retaining their superior strength.
