SPAX is celebrating its 50th birthday, yet remains a dynamic company with a young and enthusiastic team. It is this energy and passion that enables us to continue to grow the company and produce exciting, innovative, quality products.

Based in England, in an area known within racing circles as "Horsepower Highway", SPAX has always used motor sport to develop its products. Race victories with SPAX products literally run into the thousands. SPAX products have also been fitted to both of The Thrust Land Speed Record holders. Surely the only shock absorbers in the world that have been tested at 771mph.

Interestingly, we also probably produce the slowest units in an industrial applications for acid dipping. We are nothing if not versatile.Most of our time and energy is, however, focused on the production of quality, precision units for use on the road.

It is now estimated that we use over a mile of high integrity tubing each week, yet despite this scale of operation, every unit is individually tested on a computer controlled dynamometer.
